0. Before starting.

1. We divide the hair in three: top, mid and nape areas. We cut the nape close to the hairline.

2. We cut at the centre of the mid area, working in vertical sections and connecting with the nape.

3. We draw the side to the front, but ensure a good connection remains with the rear area.

4. We distribute the crown area, working with partings which pivot diagonally outwards, creating a stepped structure with movement.

5. We model the top at a slant, distributing the hair with upward moving vertical partings.

6. We review the connection at the rear area with slanting partings.

8. We work in transparencies with thinned streaks which never quite reach the areas enhanced by bleaching with peroxide at 10 vols. and then fazing with a light purple blonde hue.

9. We style with iron and finish with wax.
